We went to Cincinnati this weekend and had a WONDERFUL time!! It was so much fun with Landon and Claire, they are so cute!! We also got to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Richey. Claire was really good for the trip there and back, so I am relieved for the next couple weekends we will be traveling. She is growing up so fast, but it is so much fun watching her personality. Landon loved holding her hand it was too cute. We will definitely have to make some more trips down there so the cousins can play!!! We also helped Claire discover her feet this weekend, and she loved it! She sucks on her little toe.....it's cute! She is weighing 12 lb 10 oz now!! What an improvement!! She has been going to the Chiropractor to help with her neck and I think it is doing wonders!! She still likes her right side, but is definitely doing better. Mitch and I are going to try the crib again....We will see if she goes for it or not. She is doing better sleeping on her own, this weekend she slept in her boppy or on the floor by herself because I forgot the snuggle nest. And she did really good so hopefully we will be able to get her in there soon!! At the bottom is a video of Claire and Landon, Landon is trying to eat Claire's dress, It's adorable!!

Almost 3 months.......I can't believe it!

Claire is growing like a weed! I can't believe she will be 3 months soon, time has flown by! We are getting ready for our big trip down to Cincinnati for Memorial Weekend!! We are very excited to see everyone and to see how Claire handles a little bit of a car ride. Hopefully everything goes well since we will be going out of town for the next 3 weekends in addition to this weekend!! We are crazy!! She has such a personality!! She loves to talk and move around and is finally liking toys and mirrors. She squeals too!! When she is happy or excited it is quit entertaining. She FINALLY had physical therapy and we are still working on her neck. I'm going to call the massage therapist and have her work on her and try to get a chiropractor too. She is starting to get a little bit better, but I haven't been impressed with PT and there is only 2 places in Mansfield that does ped's. I am also going to take her in to the doctor to get weighed on Friday. I'm thinking she's in the high 11's or low 12's. But we will see....I will take any guesses. We are loving being parents and our little girl is amazing. She is changing sooo much. She is definitely a mix of us both in more ways then one!!

This is a little video I got of Claire smiling we can't get her to cooperate with the camera to catch one. Her smile makes me melt, so I wanted everyone else to see it too!! Also we determined her baptism date will July 26th at 1:00 pm. We will have a party at our house afterwards. We are very excited! All in all there hasn't been too much going on, we had a great Mother's Day! As new things happen I will keep everyone updated as our little munchkin gets more active!

We had the long and anticipated appointment with Dr. Seitz at the Cleveland Clinic today, and it went very well. Claire had to get x-rays, which she HATED! She was asleep for the trip to Beachwood, and we had to wake her up for the X-Rays which she wasn't happy about. Then she really didn't want us moving her around in ways she didn't want to be- ugh baby girl!- The nurses and receptionists were so nice! We found out that people from all over the world come to see our doctor, which made us feel really good. The doctor said we should be able to get a thumb and 2 to 3 fingers on each hand. They won't do surgery until she is 6 months old so that puts her first surgery in September. We go back on July 2nd and will do x-rays again and meet with the doctor and get our tentative date for surgery. Beachwood was such a nice facility but her surgeries will be at Lutheran Hospital (a Cleveland Clinic Hospital but not main campus). It is downtown Cleveland close to Progressive Field, it is a fairly small hospital only have 200 beds. We are really looking forward to all this, even though it will be hard it will make us stronger as a family! Claire is really starting to get a PERSONALITY!!! and boy are we are trouble!! After her x-rays she was very unhappy and then had to share that with everyone in the waiting room. She didn't cry but did her "complaining" that she does. Letting everyone know she was not happy with what went on in that room. She is smiling and talking more which is fun for us! Mitch and I are going to try to put her in the crib this weekend. We will see how it goes!

Claire loves to Dance!! We have just discovered this. Mitch and I will put VH1 or MTV on when they have music video's on and she LOVES it!!! Claire moves those legs and arms like crazY!! It is too cute, in this video she is dancing to a Valentines Day Doll that dances too.

SLEEPY TIME!!

We took this video last night, Claire fell asleep before her bath and we thought she would wake up, but she didn't until we washed her hair. It was so funny! She is pretty silly and doing ok since her shots. She has been a little cranky but is definitely doing better today!! Mitch did some of her stretches for torticollis this morning and she wasn't happy after that, but otherwise she has been good! Enjoy the little video!!

8 WEEKS!!!!

Can you believe that she is 8 weeks already??!! I know that Mitch and I can't! She went to Physical Therapy today and the Doctor for her 2 month check up and SHOTS!!! Physical therapy was just an evaluation for her torticollis. We will go there every other week, and they gave us all kinds of exercises to do with her. She is starting to look more to her left but she still needs work. We got some exciting news for breast feeding I'm allowed to feed her 20 to 30 minutes now then supplement! She is such a little talker!!! At the doctor's office she pooped......and was soooo happy! She was cooing and telling us how happy she was by smiling and laughing!! It is soo Adorable!! She is gonna be such a heart breaker I already know it! She was good until she got her shots and then she CRIED!!! I started to tear up with her because there wasn't anything I could do! She is doing ok now and hopefully the Tylenol will help. She loves people most of the time, Mitch thinks she has my personality. I have a hard time getting pictures of her smiling because of the delay with our camera hopefully I can figure that one out. We are really enjoying being parents, and love watching our baby girl grow up! Although it is sad at the same time!! We are excited about her trip Thursday to see Dr. Seitz at the Cleveland Clinic. I will update after her appointment and let everyone know what the game plan is!
