Rockin and a ROLLIN!!

Well Little Miss Claire officially ROLLED over yesterday!!! I had her on the floor and I was getting ready to change her diaper and she did it!!! Mitch was doing stuff in the lawn so he missed it but I'm sure she will do it again for him! She hasn't done it since but thats ok. Grammy Tracy, Grandpa Jay, and Uncle Jerred came over yesterday for a little bit. Grammy helped feed Claire some Pears and Rice cereal, she ate like a champ!! I unfortunately couldn't replicate what Grammy did yesterday this morning. I'm guessing it's because I'm still a little bit nervous and Grammy wasn't?! Anyway I was so proud of our little girl she is just so amazing to us!! Hopefully she will start rolling more. Who knows what else will happen this week??! I am hoping that the Dr. appointment at Cleveland Clinic will go well and I will try to update about our visit before we leave for TN!!! I hope everyone has a safe and WONDERFUL 4th of July!! :o)

YUM YUM FOOD!!!!

So we have been trying rice cereal and a few foods with little miss Claire this week, she is not a big fan but we figured it was good to just start trying. She really doesn't like cereal but as for Banana's and Pears she likes a little. She's weirded out by the spoon she doesn't like it in her mouth but she's going to have to learn. She is almost rolling over, so close, but not there yet. We keep her on her side because we don't want her flat spot on her head to get worse, and she will roll to her stomach or back. But we haven't gotten the stomach to back or back to stomach yet. She likes looking in the mirror at herself and loves tummy time for awhile now. We bought her a bumbo too and she loves that!!! We bought a tray to put her toys on and we feed her when she's in it. Because of the Torticollis she has a small flat spot on her head so we are trying to make sure she isn't on her back too much, so we do a lot of tummy time and bumbo time these days. We also put her toys on her tray and she will throw them off and I put them back on......it's fun for a certain amount of time. This weekend we are just staying around the house.....which will be so nice!!! We have a few things to do around the house, like go through her clothes that don't fit any more....amazing how this girl grows! she's in 3 to 6 months and wearing some 6 month stuff!!! And she has gone up to size 2 diapers, I had a hard time with that move. She is growing up so fast!! I don't know where these past 4 months have gone!! We have an an exciting 2nd week of July Claire turns 4 months, mommy and daddy share their 3rd wedding anniversary!! and Mommy turns 24! Claire is still talking our ears off along with the occasional screech of happiness and that lovely smile! She is such a happy baby, but she does have her moments! I am sure I will let you know when she DOES roll over finally!!!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

Happy Father's day everyone!! Especially all those new Daddy's(Brad, Bryan, Jason, Matt, and Mitch)! We had a good Father's Day, Claire got her daddy a framed Picture of her for his desk and a new TV!! (She's getting him better gifts than I can get him!!) It was nice to relax, which we haven't done in so long! We are very excited for next weekend we DON'T have any plans!!! Where did June go??? Soon it will be July and we will be making a trip up to Cleveland Clinic for more x-rays and to set a date for her first surgery, and then her regular doctor for her 4 month check up and shots!!! UGH I hate that part!~ but we get to start food soon!!! So we are kind of excited for that! Then she has evaluations with help me grow, My aunt from St. Louis is flying in to meet Claire in the middle of July, and her baptism at the end of July!! Does it ever stop??!! haha Oh and how could I forget...we are going to Knoxville for the 4th of July Weekend!! WE are just all over the place! As for Claire she hasn't rolled over quit yet, but she scoots! She talks ALL the time and drools like crazy! She sleeps in her crib almost every night now!! We are so proud of her! She has a toy with a button that you push to make noise, and she knows that she needs to press the button to turn on the music!! It is insane how much she knows! She's doing really good with her tummy time, and we are still doing the stretches with her neck and she is doing PT along with the Chiropractor. She looks to her left easier but we are still working on correcting it. The Physical Therapist says we can fix it completely so we are making that our goal! She is doing something different everyday and it is so cool to watch her grow up!!!

Our baby is growing up so fast!! She turned 3 months on Saturday and we spent the day in Toledo for Mitch's sister's husband's graduation party. Gosh that's a mouth full!! Jason, yay!! Jason and Katie had Collin the day after Claire was born, and her sister Sara had Emily just a few days later!! They were all there for the event, Along with Landon too!!! And it was fun to have all the babies together!! When will we be able to do this again?? We don't know! So we got a bunch of pictures. Claire has been learning new things everyday. She has a laughter outbreak on Monday for my mom (Grandma Crystal) and it was so precious(I posted the video below). She is doing a lot better with Tummy Time and has learned to scoot or bear crawl!! She doesn't do it every time, but that's ok. I met with a lady from Help Me Grow which is a program that helps make sure your baby is developing properly and she was very impressed with Claire. She said that she thought she would be on the move soon, I'm hoping its not too soon!! I just don't want her doing too much too soon! CRIB ALERT!!! We have had her sleep in her crib 3 times this week!! Which is a HUGE improvement for us! I'm still a little paranoid having her in there by herself, but I am getting better. Mitch makes fun of me because I go in and check on her. It's baby steps for her and I! It is nice having our bed back to the two of us. Claire will be making a trip to Columbus this weekend for my great Aunt's 50th wedding anniversary! She will get to meet my mom's side of the family which she hasn't yet! So exciting and so many people to meet! Remember to mark your calendars for July 26th, that is Claire's baptism and a party will follow at my parents house. I will be trying to send out invitations this week!

This past weekend we went to Uniontown, PA for my Cousin Jamie's bridal shower! We had so much fun seeing my side of the family and having them meet Claire! Claire has twin cousins and Chloe that she got to see and it was fun to see them interact. I'm sure once Claire starts moving more they will be able to interact more! It was so nice to see everyone and we can't wait for the wedding! Claire has begun to talk! she is such a chatter box! shes trying to sit up and lifting her head really well during tummy time! She does something new everyday! We are working on the crib thing and haven't conquered it yet. She has been sleeping in her bassinet which is a good start!
