Thanksgiving and Nursery!

Our Thanksgiving was absolutely wonderful! It was fun to see the D.C. gang( Aunt Connie, Uncle Ed, Brad, Danielle, and Chloe). The trip there was not horrible, and I did it! We stopped a few times to pee and stretch my legs although the last 2 hours I was ready to be there already! I'm hoping the Christmas trip will be nice since we are stopping in Cincy to see Matt and Desi and who knows maybe Landon! Thanksgiving Day was spent at Aunt Connie's and Uncle Ed's and it was great! Claire enjoyed all the food and her cousin! Of course we went Shopping the next day for Black FRIDAY! Mom and I may have gone a little bit too early because I was extremely tired by the end. Saturday we came home and we had a pretty good trip back, there was a lot of traffic but nothing horrible. Sunday Mitch and I went and got our changing table/Dresser at Babies-r-us so we are in the process of getting the nursery together!!! I have a place for clothes!! So I'm excited to have it look like an actual room!! It's getting more real and we are definitely getting more excited at each day comes and goes. I'm sure it will be even more real after this weekend because we have our birthing classes! I'm a little bit nervous but I am happy to be getting it done and be prepared. We have less than 100 days until we meet our little girl, which seems so soon! This whole process has flown by which is great because Mitch and I are both very excited! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

25 WEEKS AND COUNTING!

So here are so pictures that I promised I would put up. Whoa Claire! I'm feeling pretty pregnant and wondering how much bigger I will get?? Haha I'm guessing it will be interesting to see what happens.

I had a Doctor's appointment today and everything is looking good. Claire's heartbeat was 155 bpm and she's a mover and a shaker! My next Doctor's appointment I get to take the glucose test for gestational diabetes and anemia. I had mentioned to the doctor that I had been feeling tired lately and they told me to take naps and eat more protein. I'm hoping that I am not anemic but we will deal with that when the time comes. I got the OK for traveling for Thanksgiving and Christmas they just told me to make frequent stops and walk around. I think Mitch and I can handle that hopefully. I'm hoping to get the nursery taken care of this weekend, if the weather is cooperative. I wanted to go down to Polaris and get our dresser/changing table so I can organize the nursery. Little Claire has things adding up in there and I want to have it organized to a point. We have about 3 1/2 months left until we get to meet our angel and we are both very excited to meet her!

Home....again but not for long!

So miss Claire and I are quite the travelers, Cincy last weekend then from Monday to Sunday we were in D.C. meeting Chloe Alexis Rose, who is one of the best babies and cutes niece ever! She was so good I'm hoping that Claire will be as cooperative but I'm thinking we will not be that lucky. The trips were really not too bad, so I'm not worried about Thanksgiving or Christmas traveling. I am going to the Dr. tomorrow afternoon and will update how that visit goes, I think it will just be finding the heartbeat and measuring my tummy. Nothing fun but that's ok, I think we have had our share of fun. Claire is definitely getting bigger by the day! You can feel her positioning and it is really cool, Mitch LOVES it. It just keeps getting more real as each day goes by, and especially after seeing Chloe! :o) We are getting Closer a little over 3 months and our Claire Bear will be here~!

Cousin #1 is almost here!

Hello Everyone i just thought I would give a little update of how things are going here in our LIVES it's getting CRAZY!!!! My brother's wife (Danielle) was induced today with their first lil girl! and the first of the cousins!!!! Now we get to play the waiting game.......it's not fun! This weekend Mitch and I are going to Cinci for Desi's baby shower, and we will be able to spend time with mitch's side of the family, which will be nice. We are coming home Sunday and then I will be leaving with my parents to go to D.C. to see the new Kell clan! We will be staying there until Sunday! I had to change my Dr. Appt for the 12th to the 18th, because I like taking someone with me to my appointments. Since my doctor is a 45 minute drive away and I have a hard time when they take blood, so I take someone just incase. Claire is a very active little girl, the other day Mitch felt her kick for the first time. His face was priceless! She is active all day long! She likes to wake mommy up around 6 in the morning, so I've been taking naps the past few days. I think it's starting to hit us more each day that this is real and we are going to be parents to a little girl!! We are very excited, for us and everyone else! Next is Landon, then Braydon and it's a toss up for all the March babies!(There is 3 with in a week of each other) I think I'm going in February but we will see when that time gets here. Mom and I have been talking about my shower and we are thinking it is going to be January 17th. But we have some time before we need to know for sure! 23 weeks and counting time is definitely flying by and I am sure with the holidays coming up it will be January before we know it! I hope everyone is doing well and I will update after my next doctor's appointment! Who knows maybe I'll take a picture and put it up next time :o)

Baby Shower!

We had the baby shower at Tracy's this past Saturday for Desi, Heidi, and Me. It was very nice to see everyone and we got some wonderful stuff! Claire is going to be one of the best dressed kids! We are very greatful for everything we got :o) It's hard to be able to get everyone together but it is so nice when we can! This will be the last time Mitch's mother's side of the family will all be together since Desi won't be traveling for the holidays. We got some pictures of the shower, especially the picture of the 3 preggo's. The picture above is right to left, Desi who is due Januarary 10th, Heidi who is due Feburary 12th, and Me Due March 3rd. The big thing now is if we will all make it to our due dates or go late, who knows? The time is getting closer, Sometimes I want it to be March already and other times I'm like OMG it will be here soon are we ready??!! I guess we have to be ready we have no choice. All I know is that Baby Kell aka Lil Lady is coming soon and I can't wait for the first of the cousins to be here! The holidays are going to be so much fun with all these little ones running around! Ok now I need to rest after all the excitement from this weekend :o)

No More Akron, until she's born!!!

NO MORE AKRON, until she's born! Although we did love the doctors and people there we are happy to know that we are staying at Dr. Shriners in Wooster. We had another ultrasound today while we were in Akron and Claire was not being very cooperative. She was sleeping and didn't want to be messed with and we were laughing. They couldn't get a good like at her right foot, she wouldn't have it but everything looked pretty much the same as last week. It looks like we have 2 fingers on each hand and 3 toes on the left foot and 2 on the right. But we won't know FOR SURE until she gets here! They gave her a clean bill of health so we just have to watch the hand and feet. Her heatbeat was 154 and hearing that she is healthy otherwise made both of us feel good. The doctor's recomeneded a surgeon at Cleveland Clinic so we have to do some research and possibly meet him before she was born. But before she is born there really isn't anything they can do. So we don't know about how early they will do surgeries, Akron said 3 to 6 months was normal. Akron Childrens can't do anything else until she is born, so they geneticist wants us to come visit after she is born and we feel comfortable traveling. We are both relieved to be able to deliver in wooster and I really love my doctor so I'm happy too.
On another note, we got the crib this week and put together! The nursery is starting to come together although we still have a bit to go until she gets here! Is is March yet??? haha We can't wait to meet Clair!! We both love all the ultrasounds we've had because we get to see her and she's adorable! She definitely has a personality already! We just have a few more things to get to complete the nursery. We are registered at Target and Babies-R-Us we have a joint baby shower for mitch's side of the family this weekend for Desi(matt's wife), Heidi(bryan's Girlfriend), and me! So many babies in so little time! Mom and I are planning my baby shower for Januarary, we aren't sure on which saturday but probably the last two. Once we decide I will let everyone know, my next doctor's appointment is Novermber 12th so I will update again then unless something else comes up before then :o)

She's our angel :o)

We went today to Akron for a more in depth ultrasound to see what's going on with Claire. Here is what we found out, one foot is split, one foot is missing a few toes, and her hands have atleast 2 fingers, she keeps them in fists and we weren't able to tell if she doesn't have those fingers or just keeps them curled up. Other than that she is a very healthy baby weighing in at 12 ounces. We went into this knowing what was possible and ofcourse you pray and hope for it to be all okay, but in the long run it is okay. She has a strong heartbeat is EXTREMELY active and this is something that she will be able to overcome. The doctors at Akron Childrens Hospital wanted to set up a game plan for next week, so thursday we are going up there to get our game plan with the team of doctors. There is the possibility that I may be going up there for now on but we won't know until Thursday. Mitch is doing really well, and I started to cry when I saw the first foot, but then I thought to myself we knew what we got into, and we are going to love this little girl so much, and that things could be worse. She is our little angel, our gift from god, and she will be amazing. We have a great family support system and some of the best doctor's. We were both very impressed with Akron and I'm willing to drive as far as I have to, so we have the best care. We will just hope she isn't born in the back of the car like me~!
