Trip to D.C.!

We had a GREAT visit in D.C. with Auntie Danielle, Uncle Brad, Nana Banana, Aunt Connie, and Uncle Ed! It was so nice to see everyone! The trip went by too fast and now we are back at home! Chloe and Claire did very well together, playing and chatting away! It is so fun to watch how they interact with each other. We of course did some shopping on our trip, and a lot of down time to just hang out! Claire was a trooper in the car, I can not complain! We are hoping Claire's vocal skills will rub off on Chloe and Chloe's mobility will rub off on Claire! We missed Daddy a lot so we are happy to be home but sad to be away from the family! We probably won't see them until March for Claire's First Birthday!!!! I am so excited!! We are already starting to plan it! Mark your calendars, March 6th will be the day ( her actual Birthday)! We also had a great visit with Nana and Grandpa Richey before we left for D.C. I wish we could have spent more time with them! I have a feeling we will be doing some traveling this coming year! We are very excited about the new year! This year has been the greatest year of our lives, Claire Bear makes our world go round! We love her so much!!! I hope everyone enjoys their new year and is Safe!!

Claire had a very good first Christmas!! She went to church last night and was very well behaved. Then we had dinner at Grandma Crystal's and Fredpa's. It was very good! and She had a lot of fun! She then came home to ply with Ralphy(Grammy's dog). Then Grammy and Grandpa J spent the night and the festivities began in the morning! Claire opened(ok I opened but she was kind of interested) her presents, and she was a lucky girl! She has so may wonderful things! Thank you everyone!! she really enjoyed herself playing with everything and showing off for everyone. Then she took a much needed nap(that is why I am able to post this now!) We are going back to Grandma Crystals and Fredpa's for dinner tonight, and then Nana and Grandpa Richey will be here tomorrow and then Claire and I are off to D.C.! We can't wait!!! :o) It has been too long since we have seen Cousin Chloe. Uncle Brad, and Auntie Danielle!!!! I hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Claire and Santa!

Claire went to see Santa yesterday afternoon and did pretty good! She didn't really know what to think of him, and we got a good 4 minutes before she started crying! We didn't get any pictures of when she started the meltdown....which I guess is good! Some very EXCITING news occurred on Monday!! Claire has her first tooth! Her bottom tooth decided to break through the gums and make it's debut! We are all very excited about this event (especially me)! We are getting very excited about Christmas!! We have a very busy day tomorrow, I hope Claire is up for it all! Many pictures will be posted after Christmas! MERRY CHRISTMAS Everyone and a Happy New Year!! Be Safe! :o) Here is a video of her first bath after her casts! Sorry It's a little bit late!

9 month check up

Thursday Claire went to the doctor for her 9 month check up and she is a healthy girl! She weighed 22 lb 3 oz and is 29 1/2 inches. she is still in the 100th percentile for height and 95 perecentile for weight. She is doing everything she needs to do and we don't go back until after her birthday. Then we start milk hopefully, I can't believe she will be a year in less than 3 months! We are still on alert for a tooth, as mitch says "All we want for Christmas is Claire's teeth!" She is adapting to her new fingers, and having fun! She is fighting her first cold! The poor thing is so stuffy!! But she is being a trooper and hopefully will be over it soon! We hope everyone is surviving the snow! We didn't get a lot luckily! But uncle brad and aunt dani and Chloe are supposed to get around 20 inches !!! I hope Chloe enjoys the snow!

Christmas #1!

This past weekend we had our first "first" Christmas with Claire at Grammy and Grandpa J's. It was a lot of fun eventhough Claire didn't quite understand everything but that's ok! We got to spend sometime with Aunt Desi, Uncle Matt, Cousin Landon, Aunt Heidi, Uncle Bryan, Cousin Brayden, Uncle Timmy, Aunt B, Aunt Lyda, Uncle Bob, and Uncle Billy! There were a lot of people to see! The kids were very good with one another crawling around and having fun! I can't wait till next year when they are walking and talking! She got lots of toys and clothes she is avery lucky girl!

Claire goes to the Doctor this Thursday for her 9 month check up! We are interested to see what she weighs because we think she lost weight but she has gotten taller too! my guess is 21 lb and 31 inches. We got our tree up and Claire loves it! She likes playing with a nutcracker that is on a string at the bottom of the tree. She is standing really well and trying to do it on her own. What an independent thing! She has been going to PT for her Torticollis and she is doing better but it is still there. I still need to take Claire to the mall and go see Santa! We will do it this week or next and then my grandparents will be coming and we will have Christmas with my family and then Grandpa and nana Richey. The 27th Claire and I are adventuring to D.C. to see Cousin Chloe, Aunt Danielle, Uncle Brad, Great Aunt Connie, Great Uncle Ed. hAVE A BUSY REST OWe have a busy rest of the year

A Life Changing Day!

Today was a very long but very EXCITING day for Little Miss Claire! She got her casts off and we got to see what the magical Dr. Seitz did! He is so awesome! She has two "actual fingers" on her right hand and a thumb nub, and a first finger nub. She will be a getting a brace to grow those fingers in possibly 6 months. Her left hand he couldn't split super finger so she has super finger, thumb nub and finger nub. Her foot looks so good! Her big toe is straight! and he sewed up the middle, It looks great! Our day started out rough, we started by taking the casts off, She was NOT happy. She then went to X-rays next.....That really made her MAD. But her day did get better after that, she got her first sucker......I know that is horrible but Tyler made me do it! (Tyler is a 2 1/2 year old boy from New York that has a brace on his hand, like the one she will be getting soon. He was born with his first finger and thumb fused together. They had surgery on the same day and every time we have been back he has been there) He brought over some safety pops and insisted Claire have one to make her feel better, and BOY did it make her HAPPY! We then waited to see Dr. Seitz to remove the pins, which he did very quickly but Claire was not loving that! We then went to an Occupational Therapists to show us how to clean her hands and foot, and she gave us a wedge to put in between her split fingers so that they are separated when she sleeps. So we arrived at Cleveland Clinic at 11 and left around 2:30...We were all tired, especially Claire. A big Thank You to Fredpa and Grammy! We couldn't have done this without your help! Claire is trying to crawl but is a little unsure because of her hands but had no problem pulling up on to furniture. So I am guessing she will be doing everything she was doing before by Thursday. She got a Bath tonight and absolutely loved it!! We let her play for about 15 minutes before her "Actual Bath" and the smile on her face was priceless ( and the way she smelled afterward was too!!) The first time we put her down she saw a pony tail holder and grabbed it! I think it brought tears to both Mine and Mitch's eyes, just because we know before she would have struggled to grasp that and now she can do it with ease! We are so excited to see what she will be able to do! We are so proud of her and she is one tough cookie! I will try to post some pictures tomorrow. Here is one of the videos we filmed with Mitch's phone, ENJOY!

Thanksgiving 2009!

Claire and Daddy snoozing on Thanksgiving!
The whole clan!

Claire hanging with Daddy!

Nanna reading to Claire, Collin, and Emily

Looks like Claire is taking a break!

Well Claire's first Thanksgiving has now passed and it was a great one! We went to Pigeon Forge, TN with Grandpa and Nana Richey, and then some more! Aunt Desi, Uncle Matt, Cousin Landon, Aunt Katie, Uncle Jason, Cousin Collin, Aunt Sara, Uncle Erik, and Cousin Emily. The kids had a blast babbling and playing with one another. The girls went shopping (like that was even a question!) The boys went hiking on Saturday and we all had a great time!! We can't wait for next year especially for all the kids to be a year older! Oh what they will be doing then! We had a good trip down and back, Claire did awesome! We took Grandma Crystal and Fredpa's Van and she loved looking out the window! I think Claire is trying to give us a hint! haha Unfortunately when we got back mommy got a cold, so I'm fighting a cold and trying not to get Claire Bear sick. We are getting very excited for Monday!! The casts come off!! I can't believe Sunday she will 9 months old, time is just flying by! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!! Only 23 more days until Christmas!! We are looking forward to it, and then Claire and I will be taking a little trip to visit Aunt Danielle, Uncle Brad, and Cousin Chloe with Grandma Crystal and Fredpa!! We are so excited since we didn't get to make it to Chloe's first birthday!!

New Casts!!!

What a LONG day! We went up to Beachwood today for Claire's first post-op appointment. She got x-rays and Dr. Bill liked what he saw! Then we got new casts! Still pink ofcourse! one of the pins fell out of her little toe, (mommy almost got sick) but Claire did ok. She cried an awful lot, I think because she didn't want them to put them back on. So the big NEWS on Dec. 7th they come off!!! YAY! Then no more surgery until May, which is ok with us! The new casts are slimmer so they aren't as heave which is nice for us and Claire! I can't believe she will be 9 months in less than 2 weeks! She is starting to stand on her own so I'm sure once she gets her casts off she will be GONE! Still NO teeth! But who knows maybe we will get a Thanksgiving day surprise! We leave on Wed morning and we are READY! Can't wait to spend some time with family and relax! I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!! :o)

8 Months!!

Happy Girl!! She is 8 months!

Cutie Pie
Daddy and Claire Bear sleeping.....

Going for a walk with Fredpa!

Claire is 8 months today!! I can't believe it, this year is just flying by! The girl is doing great, she is not letting her casts get in the way too much. She is crawling pretty good and pulling up on the couch and cruising. She does want the casts off, which she has to have for 6 weeks we are making bets she wiggles out of them before that time is here. Her appetite is coming back! It was a little bit scary to see this girl not want food, but I guess that is expected with all the pain meds and not feeling good. We are still trying to get the night time routine down. We have been lucky to have my mom or mitch's mom stay with this week so we have had help. But tonight we will be on our own which is fine since mitch doesn't work tomorrow. We are still laying low, I haven't left the house yet and either has Claire. I have a feeling I will be stir crazy here soon! I know this is a day early but happy birthday CHLOE!!! She turns 1 year old tomorrow!! We were so sad we couldn't make it for her birthday, but hopefully we will get to see her soon. We may venture to Ashland tomorrow I am not yet sure. But all in all this weekend will be to relax. I just want to thank everyone for all their help and support! We love you all!

We are HOME!

Claire with Grandpa Richey sleeping after we got home

Monday Claire had her surgery on both hands and her right foot at Cleveland Clinic. She was not able to have work done on her left foot because they put the IV in that foot. Claire did very good the night before and up to the surgery. She had a lot of family in that waiting room! Almost 12 people! She had a lot of support and all the friends and family helped mommy and daddy to cope with everything. Around 1:30 they took her back and we got to see her around 5:45. It was the longest day of our lives! The surgery took longer than expected but she did very good. She has 3 Hot Pink Casts and has managed to whack mommy and daddy along with Grammie Tracy and Grandpa Gaylord. I am sure everyone will get their turn. She was really good on the way home she slept the whole way. When we got home was a different story! I was so proud of myself because I didn't cry too much during the surgery (especially when I walked her back and they put her asleep in my arms). But when we got home she was crying and yelling mama mama and it just broke my heart! We have been giving her pain medicine and antibiotics and she is taking them like a champ! It is hard to get her situated and hold her with the casts. And her clothes are going to be a bit of an issue, we will be cutting off some arms of clothes. But we will make it work! We are starting to get our baby back, she has started saying uh-oh! And will throw both arms up (with the casts) when we say "how big is Claire? so BIG!" She also wants to crawl and walk! She tries with the casts then cries because she is frustrated. But She is almost back to normal! She also had one tooth on the bottom start to break through. FINALLY! Talk about timing, She's got her pain meds to help her through it! We get to take the casts off in 6 weeks which is probably going to mid December (right before Christmas, Yay!). We are looking forward to the holidays and getting comfortable in our new situation. I will update as she starts new things, which I am sure these casts will not slow this girl down!

Surgery Update!

Ok, So Claire has to be at Cleveland Clinic at 11:15 am on Monday. We don't have to leave really early is the bright side, but we have to wait and I know anxiety will get the best of us! The doctor pushed us to be his last patient for the day which makes me think he may have some tricks up his sleeves??! As of right now they will work on one foot, and both hands. Because of the IV they won't do the other foot unless they find a different location. Another positive thing is that she can have clear fluids until 9:15 that morning, so when we get in the car she can't have anything. We are hoping and praying everything goes smooth which I am sure it will. WE are so LUCKY to have everyones support and we will have a little waiting room full of support! We will need it!! I will try to put something up about the outcome on Tuesday or Wednesday. (depending on when we get home because they could keep her until the next morning possibly.) Wish us Luck!

The Richey kids!
Grammie playing with Landon and Claire

Last weekend was very nice we got to spend some time with Aunt Desi, Uncle Matt and Cousin Landon! It was so nice to see all of them, almost two months since we had seen them! Landon is such a character! We loved seeing them and can't wait to see them again! Which will be Thanksgiving down in Tennessee. So we have had a busy week, Monday we had our usual appointments, PT and Chiropractor, they both went well. Tuesday we went up to Cleveland Clinic so that the head of anesthesiology could look over Claire. Her IV will be in ankle, and they may not be doing her feet we are not sure at the moment. They don't like to move the IV so they wouldn't be doing anything on the foot that has the IV. Then BCMH had told us they didn't need approval for the feet, and then a week ago decided they needed approval for the feet. So luckily they got the approval on Wednesday! Thank Goodness, so we only have 3 days to go! Oh MY!!! We had Trick-or Treat tonight and Claire had fun! Unfortunately we weren't able to go with Auntie Laura, Matthew, and Carter because Matthew had the flu earlier this week. Since it was so close to surgery we didn't go around with them but hopefully next year we will all be able to go! We walked her around in the stroller with Auntie Rah and Emma. It was fun and a good night for it all! Claire was center of attention with her Ladybug outfit! Emma helped us hand out candy and so did Aunt Andrea. We all had fun! We find out tomorrow what time surgery will be on Monday..... It should be early morning because they said she is either going to be first or second. We are planning on laying low this weekend and enjoying time with Claire. I will try to update how the surgery goes, wish us luck!

Surgery Update!

I got my call from our doctor's nurse today and Claire will be going up to Cleveland clinic on Tuesday to get evaluated by the anesthesiologist. Then we will probably have to go up another day for her pre-op tests. I haven't gotten a phone call from Registration yet, so I won't know until that happens. Next Friday we will know the time of the surgery, which the nurse said she will be the first of the day because she is the youngest. Which is fine with me! Less time to worry about everything but we will have to leave pretty early in the morning. I will update next week after the doctor's visits and let everyone know how surgery goes. We have 13 days left, I can't believe it! She will be one unhappy girl not being able to crawl! But she has to do this.

a fun weekend

We didn't do much this weekend but we did a lot of hanging out with the family and it was nice because the weather wasn't the best! Fall has hit OHIO and brrrrrr it's cold! Friday night Daddy and Fredpa went to a high school football game, while Claire , Mommy, and Grandma Crystal went shopping. We got Claire a new winter coat! She is not too much of a fan but she doesn't have a choice! Saturday we spent in Ashland, it was cold and rainy on and off so we hung out for the day. We had planned on going to a pumpkin patch but since the weather wasn't great we stayed in. Grammy Tracy, Grandpa J, Uncle Jerred, Aunt B, and Uncle Timmy were all there to hang out. Claire really got to bond with Uncle Jerred and Jerred tried to bond with her too! It was pretty cute! Sunday was spent hanging out at the house, and of course WATCHING FOOTBALL! We watched the Steelers vs Browns and the Steelers WON! Woohoo! It's so hard when they play since Mitch is a Browns fan I was raised Steelers! And Claire did her thing, crawling, scaling furniture, and talking! Grandma Crystal and Fredpa came over to see Claire and watch the game I guess. Grandma Crystal read to Claire and got her to sleep with her head to the left for a good 20 minutes!!!!! That's the first time we have been able to do that! So we were all very excited and hopeful! Countdown to surgery continues, I will be calling Cleveland Clinic tomorrow to hopefully fill in some of the holes for surgery. I want to thank everyone for all their support through this, you can prepare yourself but when they day gets closer you still have worries. Two Weeks to go ahhhhhh! Claire will be getting a pumpkin this week or next weekend. We are ready for Halloween! I put up a new slide show, we got a new camera so I have been messing around with it!

Columbus Zoo

What a very busy Saturday for Little Miss Claire, she ventured to Columbus, with Mommy, Daddy, Fredpa, and grandma Crystal. We did a little bit of running around Columbus and then went to the zoo. Claire was very well behaved, and enjoyed the trip. She may have liked seeing all the kids more than the animals but as long as she has fun it all that matters. She enjoyed the penguins the most! We got a smile and laugh out of her watching one swim in the water. She slept through the gorillas and monkeys. I think we all enjoyed our trip to the zoo and plan on making MANY trips in the next couple of years. Monday we are getting Claire's pictures taken, I am very excited since we took so long to have this done! We are getting closer to surgery only 4 Mondays to go! I'm hoping I will hear from them this week to find out more information on Pre-op and more information on the actual surgery. She is amazing us each day with something new, and she is precious. We are working on her squealing.....She likes to squeal when she's happy but it can be ear piercing at times, so hopefully we will get somewhere with that. If anyone talks to me on the phone they KNOW. We are going to go next weekend and get her pumpkin, and we are very excited for Halloween. Before we know it it will be Thanksgiving and Christmas and we can't wait!

Almost 7 months!!!

At the Fair looking at the bunnies
Happy girl in the stroller
Before the fair with Grammy
Before the fair with Grammy again!

I can't believe our little girl is going to be 7 months on Tuesday and (Daddy is going to be 26 on Thursday!) It is crazy how the months have flown by, and D-Day is getting closing, we have less than a month to go! Mitch and I are both getting anxious.....but we need to depend on each other and our family to get through it. With that said we are going to enjoy October the best we can because we don't know how the beginning of November will go. We are hoping for nice weather this Saturday so we can take Claire to the Columbus Zoo, and do some shopping while we are down there too! We need to get her a new car seat since she is so close to outgrowing her previous one. The girl is now on a mission to climb and stand on everything which she is doing a pretty good job of, and knows to fall on her butt! She is loving Halloween! My parents really get in to it (as do Mitch and I too) and they have a ghost that is voice activated. Claire will squeal at the top of her lungs to get to go off! It's cute and makes you hearing impaired at the same time!! For those of you have not heard the squeals of Claire Bear.....Watch out, they will get you! The girl is loud!!! (that's an understatement). Still no Teeth and it is really getting frustrating for Claire and for Mommy and Daddy! She's fussy more during the day than at night which is good because we all get sleep, but during the day can be rough. I've come to the conclusion she has no teeth and this is just a cruel joke! Other than that she is happy, she loves going shopping with mommy, and being in the car! She's in the car a lot with all her doctor visits and seeing Grammy Tracy in Ashland. She is really good so I can't ask for more! We also just wanted to say we are happy that Cousin Chloe, Brad, and Danielle are back from Costa Rica! We are glad they are back and had a good time!!

The Fair!

Claire has really conquered her crawling, she is crawling so fast and like a big girl! She has a fascination with shoe laces at the moment she likes to untie them and play with them. She also went to her first Ashland County Fair and first fair! She was really good and I think enjoyed it, there was so much going on for her to look at. She saw Bunnies and Roosters and the roosters kind of scared her, but that is ok. She strolled around people watching for about 2 hours and then we decided she was getting tired so time to go! She is doing really well feeding herself too, it's so amazing what babies adapt to doing. She can eat finger foods she pinches them up with superfinger and puts them right in her mouth! It's pretty cool to watch. I wonder what she will think after surgery with all the extra digits! As it stands Nov 2nd is still surgery and we are trying to prepare ourselves for it. And as tooth watch 09 goes we are still waiting............She woke up screaming Saturday night 1:30 and cried for a good 30 to 45 minutes. Thank goodness it happened Saturday and not during the week! We have a pretty quiet October ahead of us which will be nice Pictures of the fair will be up soon!

Sunday Football!!

In her Browns outfit with Grandpa J's Terrible Towel

Cutie Pie!

Claire got to soak in her first sunday at him with all the football! We had Grandma Crystal, Grammie Tracy, Fredpa, and Grandpa J over too. Claire got to wear her Browns Cheerleader outfit for the first time and she looked GREAT!!! She wore it half of the day and the steelers cheerleader outfit the other half. My family is Steeler Fans along with Grammie Tracy and Grandpa J and Mitch's Family is Brown's Fans. So Claire roots for both teams!! She is really perfecting her crawling, still no teeth. Other than that we are just hanging out, I think we are going to try to take her to the Ashland County Fair this week. Hopefully the weather is cooperating. We are getting exciting for Halloween, haven't decided what her costume will be but we have a little bit of time.

November 2nd

Claire right before the first Football game of the YEAR Steelers vs. Titans and she's sporting her Steelers onesie! Daddy wasn't too happy but she has a Browns Cheerleader outfit she will be wearing sunday!
She fell asleep while eating again......I'm sensing a pattern

We FINALLY have a date for Claire's surgery which is November 2nd. It is a monday and will be an outpatient procedure still, so we will have it at Cleveland Clinic Beachwood. They do not know if they will be able to all 4 limbs or not, Dr. Seitz thinks he can do it, but we are just gonna think 3 so if he doesn't get it all done it's ok. The big issue with doing all four is the IV access, so Claire and I will be going up before surgery and have them check out her veins. Fingers crossed she is not like her mommy! We are excited for her surgery but in the other hand nervous. I was hoping that it would be sooner than November but you have to take what they give us. She will definitely be MOBILE(she's mobile now). We decided not to go with the helmet for Claire's soft spot, our other PT told us she wouldn't do it because Claire's wasn't that bad. Her pediatrician was against it too. And she won't have casts for Halloween!! So now I can get her whatever she wants (really whatever Mitch and I want). I bought her a pumpkin outfit on clearance last year and of course it doesn't fit! We are thinking Ladybug for this year, but who knows! We are all just happy to have a date for surgery, Hopefully she will be ready to go by Thanksgiving, because we have a trip to Knoxville to make!

Off the Charts!

Claire had her 6 month check up today and she is off the charts! Weighing in at 20 lb 1oz and 28 1/2 inches long!! How crazy is that?? Everything looks good! She is a healthy baby and got the OK for surgery. Which we still don't know our day but I will let everyone know when we do! She didn't like the shots, but who does? We don't go back until December! When she's nine months!!! Our doctor told us not to do the helmet so I will be doing some research this weekend to see what the pros and cons are for it. Hope everyone has a nice weekend!!

Surgery Update

Happy Girl!
Sleeping while eating her teething biscuit

Our Sleeping angel

I did get my very anticipated call from Cleveland Clinic on Thursday but we have run into some snags. The doctor wanted the procedure to be outpatient and last only 4 hours, when his nurse asked Anesthesiology they say that was not gonna happen. They said either he can split the surgery into two and do them as outpatient procedures or do it as one but keep her overnight and have it at Fairview hospital (associated with Cleveland Clinic). I have a feeling that he is going to do it as one surgery, because at her last appointment he said he wanted to put her under the least they could. So I am waiting to hear back on Tuesday on the decision and then HOPEFULLY we can FINALLY schedule this thing. I am thinking it's going to be October now, but who knows maybe it will be the end of September. Other than that we are having a good weekend, besides the OSU game we are enjoying ourselves. Claire and I are looking forward to daddy being home on Monday!!! We hope everyone enjoys their LABOR DAY!!!

West Virginia Wedding

Fredpa and Chloe
YUM!!! My Hand!!
Uncle Joe and his girls!

Swimming!
Aunt Dani and Claire!

We had so much fun this past weekend! Claire especially because she got to take a dip in the pool and play with cousin Chloe! It was a lot of fun watching the two play with each other! On the trip down I bought Claire some teething biscuits, she ate one in the van and made a complete mess and fell asleep mid snack! She is definitely a funny girl! She loved the pool and thanks to Cousin Chloe walking circles around her, she wants to stand and walk! Yesterday she grabbed onto a basked and got on her knees ready to pull up to stand!!! Ahhhhh! Today she pulled up to standing on her own!!! She is cruising pretty good these days and goes from crawl to sit and sit to crawl. I let her pretty much get into whatever since there is going to be a time when she can't. The other day she was in the living room with daddy and she crawled into the kitchen because I was in there, it was too cute! And she is still talking up a storm!! No teeth yet but we are thinking soon, she keeps rubbing her tongue across her gums so who knows??! I still haven't heard from the Cleveland Clinic, so I will call them today and hopefully be able to set up her surgery! We had Physical Therapy this week along with Chiropractor appointment and massage therapy(the girl has the life). We talked about the dreaded helmet at PT to help with her flat spot on her head from the torticolis. And we decided we are going to do it, it was hard for me since she'll be casts too but we have to do everything we can for her. As far as the torticolis goes it is getting better, but it's not perfect. Claire is definitely keeping me busy!!! She is eating really good I think peas are the only thing she has had that she doesn't necessarily like. She is a plump little thing but has to be for her surgery. I can't believe she will be 6 months on Sunday......Crazy!! We go to the pediatrician on the 10th for her 6 month check up and I think I'm going to get 6 month portraits done before her surgery. She is really fun right now and we can't wait for what else is in store for us!!

Claire's First Wedding!!

Happy Baby!

Cutie Pie!
Claire loves Cups!
Mommy, Daddy, and Claire at Rachel's Wedding
Claire's dress was too cute!

Auntie Rachel got married today, it was a beautiful wedding and she looked gorgeous as always! Claire was in attendance, and mommy was a bridesmaid, so Daddy, Grandma Crystal, Fredpa, and Uncle Billy got to spend a lot of time with Claire. Claire enjoyed her day, she danced, and talked to all kinds of new friends! I can't wait until she can dance on her own. We are very excited about next weekend for Jamie's Wedding! Hopefully Claire will have just as good as she did today! This weekend was the Lexington Blueberry Festival we didn't make it to the actual event but we did watch the fireworks and Claire LOVED them. Although she did fall asleep for the finale and she was out, didn't even flinch! We had a very exciting weekend, Sunday was Grandpa Jay's birthday! We went over to Ashland to spend some time with family and celebrate! We got to spend some time with cousin Brayden which is always a good time! We also got our approval for her surgery we are just waiting for the doctor to call me back and schedule!!! Hopefully by the end of the week we will know our day!
